Google offers a free custom search engine. The free version includes ads on the results page. However, you could tie this in with your own Google Adsense account and make a little extra money. Google’s custom search engine is very easy to add to your website. You designate a name and description of your search engine, list the websites you want to let it search and add some code to your web pages.
You could have a search box on every page or just your home page is you prefer.

Free Backlink Builder Reveals Hundreds of Link Possibilities
Why should you care? Along with proper optimization (keywords and coding) of your website, and activity level, backlinks (links to your site from other sites) are a major way search engines decide what natural position you achieve on the page.
This is a neat tool. I entered a keyword phrase and 201 websites appears, each of which included my keyword plus the phrase “Add link” or a similar phrase. Since your phrase is includes in the search term, many of these sites will be relevant to your theme. Relevancy is important since the “quality” of the backlink is a factor in how favorably it impacts your page ranking.
Not all of these will be good prospects for you, but many should be. Some of the sites may require reciprocal links, that is, they’ll publish your link if you add a link to their website on your website. Try it out!

Blogger is a full featured weblog publishing tool. Use it to share your writings, photographs and video.
As you’ll see in the Blog Free Starter Video, a big advantage of Blogger (in addition to being free) is that it is incredibly easy to use. You can be up and blogging in just minutes.
It’s not necessary to purchase a separate domain name. You can run your blog as a subdomain of Blogger. Easily upload your photos and videos. Another advantage is that since Blogger is part of Google there are lots of convenient ways of interfacing with other Google marketing tools. (Hint: pick a name for your blog that includes strong keywords for which your best prospects are likely to search.)

Free Google Keyword Tool
Google’s free keyword tool has become one of the most prominently used keyword resources. After all, Google should know which keywords are being searched since Google gets most of the searches.
You enter a single keyword or several keywords at a time. Google’s keyword tool displays recent monthly search volumes for related keywords both worldwide and for whatever “local” area you select (such as the U.S.) The range of related keywords is rather broad, but you can focus tightly on the keywords you enter if you wish. A bar graph illustrates how competitive each search term is for advertisers. You can add columns to the results, including a column showing CPC or cost per click. This is handy for pay per click advertisers who may wish to focus on less costly keywords.

Google Places (Maps) – Grab Your Free Listing
For local and regional businesses a Google Places (Maps) listing is more and more important. Google may already have your business listed. It may have found your business through other avenues. But until you “claim” your listing by going to Google and adding your own content, you won’t have control of how your business is being presented.
You’ll need to have a Google Account to set up your Google Places listing on Google Maps. As you’ll see in the Google Places Starter Video, you can go to http://www.google.com/account/NewAccount to set up your free account. That takes just a couple of minutes to do.
When you set up your Google Places listing, be as complete as possible in filling out the information. Specify as many products and services as possible. Add photos and video if available. Describe your services in detail. Either list the cities you serve or specify a radius you ge0-target. Encourage satisfied customers to review your business and recommend you.

Article marketing has many benefits. Primarily it can establish you as an expert in your field. It can generate traffic to your website. It can also help you build links to your websites for SEO purposes.
Here’s how it works. You submit your article to Article Directories such as Ezine Articles (see Ezine Articles Starter Video.) Many directories are considered by search engines to be authority sites with strong page rank. Links from authority sites may help your site’s page rank and therefore your site’s organic page position.
Your article may also be picked up by other publishers, such as eNewsletter publishers (Ezines.) Those picking up your article must include your signature, or resource box at the end of the article. This is where you can market yourself, provide a link and invite clicks back to your website.
Obviously a valuable article that is picked up by numerous high traffic publishers can generate a great deal of quality marketing exposure.
